Those of you who use...
...Bible software:
I did a quick search of the forums and didn't really see this here on any board, so I apologize if this has been asked before. But if you own and regularly use any type of Bible software, I would be interested in knowing which, what and why.
Perhaps you can tell that I have a personal and professional interest.
I think I'm familiar with most of the major programs available, and I own some of the more popular ones, though not all. I got started by a friend with Biblesoft and that was good until I discovered Sword Searcher. I really liked the intuitive nature / interaction of that program, and I especially appreciated what Brandon [Staggs] did when he went from v.3x to v.4x.
When I was in Seminary, the school's library had Online Bible at every terminal, but I really wasn't very computer literate at the time, so never really checked it out. Curiosity got the better of me, and after comparing Online with Sword Searcher, I switched.
It's a bit easier to use if you don't like having to rely on a mouse, and it's more interactive in some respects. Plus I like the range of modules available, and the language features. It's also a plus that everything is available for free, though I bought the cd -- having experienced a crash in the past, I know it's better to be prepared.
But I still use SS-4x from time to time, and recommend it.
I'm sure this has bored many of you, but if you do use a Bible program, especially one I don't own or use, I'm always looking for info so I can be informed and help others [I know some programs are better for certain tasks / goals, and some are preferred by certain types, like some of the "Bible scholars" I know and their affinity for particular programs].
Well, thanks for reading, and any response. God bless.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ~ Jesus Christ, Son of God, Saviour
