Damn, I have been curious about this too.
I have a plantar wart on my left foot, between the pinky and the 4th toe. Has been there for 1.5 years, maybe longer... can't remember now. I've trimmed it many times but never "dug it out." It doesn't hurt and isn't getting bigger.
Should I be worried? Do warts go "deeper" if you don't try to get rid of them? When I was a kid I had a few warts frozen off (didn't really hurt)... wonder if I should try that again, or get OTC stuff.
