Since I was a tiny one, through whatever thing, I've enjoyed weapons. My mom hates them though, and we have good-natured ribbings about it.
Weapons also tend to be very (I'm sure there's a better word, but...) uh, finely-tuned I suppose? Just the amount of skill that is put into making a simple staff a deadly weapon, or the thousands of folds in a katana. The precision of firearms, and the amount of development that weapons undergo, simply because they have been so necessary throughout history. I don't think one could say that blenders have received the same amount of developmental attention that rifles have.
