Well this is my son's first Christmas, and my first to have a child to buy for and so I was prepared to go all out! Very smart, and good for you! However, you might want to not get so many NOISY toys, because that's what they'll be after a time...
...and think twice about battery operated toys. They work great until the batteries dead, and then you never seem to remember to get enough batteries as you need...
