Personally I like the Dell Axims. I have an x50v and love it. However, I don't use it that much anymore because of my new PPC-6700 phone that has PDA functionality built into it. Though the cheapest I see from Dell is a Axim x51 416mhz for $318. With only $250 to spend, you aren't going to get a really good PDA.
