How well can you talk to people on the phone? Call up the company and tell them that you bought an x-box with a Thomson drive. You know that when the system came out, there was a problem with it and it needs to be replaced. There are still many class actions in the process I believe against both Playstation 2 and Microsoft. Speak well and get your point across and they will fix your unit for free and pay for the shipping. Sony and Xbox both replaced my two. They should fix your system np to avoid lawsuit and keep future business. Unless you act like an idiot.
