Technically, Kitty Pride and Colossus aren't "new" to the X-movies, as they were both background muties in X2. I guess it remains to be seen if they will have a more prominent roll this time, but similar to the Phoenix saga, the Kitty Pryde-->Shadowcat storyline would also be an entire movies worth.
