The above statement is suspect. A hole in the palate is called a cleft palate if it's from birth. An aquired hole would be from a traumatic injury at some point. But a self-respecting physician wouldn't be running around calling it an "abnormal phenomenon."
As someone said before India is up to its armpits in fake holymen. Its something of a cottage industry.
