what is that thing in the Pet Shop window right next to the word "Shop"? it's been bothering me for a long time now

if you actually do the thing on heavy, it tells you how many answers you got right. you can just cheat and try individual names to see if they belong in the list. Bloc Party apparently is not a correct answer.
