I do benefit when I am doing Kendo. The power hand is the left hand, the right hand is used for directionality (i.e. where you will hit). Most right-handed people starting out in Kendo have a hard time not using their right hand to power their strikes. It was easy for me...

YES! somebody knows how I feel...ringed notebooks..UGH...I have pretty ucky penmanship, and everytime someone saw it, they'd go 'future doctor huh' and I laughed it off but thought in my head, 'no...just left handed I guess'..I haven't found any great niche for this lefthandedness, but I guess I function pretty well with my right...there are quite a few things that I do better with my right than I do with my left..I think that was left to adaptation though, gotta survive right?
