I'm a lefty but I don't feel discriminated against or handicapped. Mostly it isn't something I even think about. I just get on with it.
The few things that do bother me:[list][*] Scissors[*] Papermate erasable pens... when I was a kids these were all the rage. My hand would be blue from the ink smudge.[*] Binders and ringed notebooks... fucking rings are always in the way.[*] Neat handwriting. I hated cursive writing and eventually switched back to a cross between printing and cursive that worked well for me...
I do benefit when I am doing Kendo. The power hand is the left hand, the right hand is used for directionality (i.e. where you will hit). Most right-handed people starting out in Kendo have a hard time not using their right hand to power their strikes. It was easy for me...
