I wouldn't for one simple reason: you were just IN the Phillippines, and it's a damned expensive and lengthy trip.
I feel the same way about this that I did about wedding guests when Quadro and I got married: we didn't invite anyone we didn't know and care about. So you pretty much don't care about her (she hurt you, but that's not the kind of care I mean)... why would you go? It's hypocritical.
However, it is very true that funerals are not for the dead - they're for the living. YOU don't need to see her and all that, but perhaps your parents need you to be there. I'd make my final decision based on whether it mattered to me how my parents felt about it. If she wasn't nice/close/etc. to your dad, then the hell with it. Don't go. If she mattered to him, then I would, assuming I could afford the trip itself.
