Mal's right. Acidophilus caplets/tablets work best if you get the kind that are refrigerated. My gyno told me that the unrefrigerated ones aren't really doing all that much for you because the formerly "active" cultures are freeze dried. Go for labels that read "Live" or "Active" cultures on your yogurt, supplements, etc.
