I'm looking for platform games. 2d side scrollers for the PC. Something like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, or Super Mario Bros.

I know there have got to be some really good homebrew side-scrollers out there. I don't really mean the crap people make in Klik 'n' Play and try to pass off as real games, but some actual fun games. Something I could maybe use my gamepad with and kill some time.

Anybody know of any? (for pc)
