also, be the type post sex to excuse yourself to clean up. wash up and pee, the acidity will help avoid post-getting-some infections. i have had that happen a few times.
also, like ng - wipes are good. inthe morning and in the evening. and keep some monistat 7 (or store brand) cream near by. you feel something fishy, slap some on. its helped me pre-treat the yeasties.
