For their first 4 Christmases, we were able to keep the gifts to one big gift, two small and a teddy bear. The teddy bears appeared from Santa until they were about nine.
We still try to keep it the same with some clothes and stocking stuffers as well. With 3 grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends, they get inundated anyway.
This holiday will be extremely hard because of financial setbacks. Still not sure how it will play out. In addition to my own kids, I have seven nephews and a niece, all over the age of 15 and the oldest is 24 and engaged.
