Man, I don't have any kids, but I remember christmases when I was a kid- I didn't get everything I wanted, but my parents would always set up everything on the floor so I got to see it all sitting out. I remember one year I got all this Barbie stuff- if you had just left it in the package, it wouldn't look like much, but "Santa" set it all up- so when I went into the living room on Christmas, half of the floor was covered in presents!
My mom got a little annoyed with it because the set had little plastic place settings for barbie, and she'd find little plastic forks and spoons and knives all over the place for years afterwards....
So, yeah, think about setting up all the fun stuff on the floor.. makes it look like more
