Most importantly you don't need to carry around BOTH a phone and a PDA.
The Treo is GSM multi band -- I've used it all over the world with no problems.

There's a wifi "sled" for the 650. I'm still waiting for a wifi SD card.
Not a lot of need, though. I have unlimited data with Sprint, so anything I need to do on the web with my 650, I can do over PCS.
As an added bonus, it's PalmOS, not Wince.
