His death bothers me far more now than it did then, I was a Paul fan at the time. I too wonder what if and have come to appreciate what he said and the obstacles, laughter and contempt others threw at him.
His last album was definately his best solo work, overall. I am of the belief that he would have had some very great music ahead maybe even have worked with Julian (if Yoko would have allowed him to).
As much as Paul now says he and Juhn would have written together, I seriously doubt it, I think as friends they may have gotten along but working together I believe John had put it behind him and enjoyed what he had. It may have been nice at first, but I think it would have tarnished the Beatles in the end.
