You needed to mention this earlier.
Check the frequency that you are outputting to the "second" monitor (I assume you still have a regular monitor and the HDTV is a second)
If this is your first monitor, look up what the optimal refresh rate is for it on the makers website. S-Video is great, but you need to have the right refresh rate.
It could of course also be the video's you are using.
