Why did you start visiting the first one you did?
Boredom.
What exactly stimulated you to start posting/browsing regularly?
It's a differnt kind of comunication. It allows for revision of one's thoughts which in turn helps to stimulate an examination of the self. Also, boredom.
What is it about TFP that keeps you coming back?
A sumptuous amout of personalities, there are very few boards like TFP.
What draws you to any other boards you regularly visit?
To be truthful, I think it's a habit. Also, boredom.
Are you a lurker? Do you almost always feel motivated to give your opinion? Do you post about everything?
I was a lurker for a little while, back when TFP started I came for the titty board, left a few comments and thats about it. Then when the Philosophy board came out I started posting there because at that time I was intrested in the subject and was a regular member at the philosophy.com board. From there I expanded to other forums in the TFP.
What benefits have you gotten from being around message boards?
I think, I learned allot about myself and other people. It's facinating how open people are on forum boards. It's very hard to achieve the same depth in live discussions. So it's a differnt window into people minds. I find it very intresting. Also, alleviate my boredom.
