I've bowled since I was 8 and actually met my wife 19 years ago in a youth bowling league. I bowled in a college league and my highest average was in the 170s. I ended up working in a bowling alley for 3 years during college, and after a few months ended up being night manager.
After we closed down on Friday and Saturday nights we use to invite friends over and drink and bowl every weekend. After I got a job out of the town post-college, I was so burned out on bowling I never picked it up again, until a few months ago when my daughter wanted to go bowling one night. Took me a couple of games to get back into the hang of it. Now, my wife and I are considering joining a league maybe this summer or next fall..
