When I was a little - mom told me there was a choc-wedge fairy.
(The "choc-wedge" was vanilla ice cream, on a stick, coated in chocolate).
If I planted the stick in the garden and carefully placed a mostly intact paper wrapper over it, it would regenerate overnight into a new one.
And it did... for a few nights at least. Then we simply started fetching from the freezer.
