That's great! One of the first computer programs I ever wrote was on my old TRS-80 (you know, the one with the membrane keyboard, hooked up to the TV? Loaded programs off cassette tapes?). It took your birth date, and gave you back your age in the year 2000.
I remember thinking, "26!? I'll be too old to even ENJOY living in the future!"
It's funny--that's a complicated program for an eight year old. You can't just add years, first you've got to look and see if this year's birthday has already passed. Looking back, I'm proud of the little hacker I already was! Shame I had no perspective on time!
