i just built a
epox mb that supports both athlon 64 and the sempron processors. i have the
3100+ 1.8 ghz processor with 512mb of ddr(400) ram. it seems to run almost as fast as the athlon (at least in 32 bit windows), and its alot easier on the checkbook.
