Dude-That is one word I can't stand. My kids say it all the time. I did find a way to curb the usage around me though, I told them if I hear it again, they will have to write a one page report on the real meaning of the word. I haven't heard it since!
The other thing that really bugs me is when I say something and I get "Are you serious?" or "hang on" as a response. I wouldn't have said it if I weren't serious and hang on to what?
