I have an 89 Cavalier z24 and I just recently seized the engine and need to get it replaced. I am wondering if anyone would know a better engine to get and put in that will provide me with more horsepower, etc.? I have been looking up used and rebuilt engines and I found that my engine is 173" or so I am assuming. I just know it is a 2.8 Fi V6 engine. Is it just better to stick to the rebuilt same version or try and get a different engine?
