The worst is when the AT round hits the cockpit and kills the pilot, but doesn't destroy the copter. Then the gunner has about 5 seconds to realize that the pilot is gone before he crashes.
There's nothing more surprising than starting to go into an uncontrollable spin and then noticing your pilot is dead.
I love flying the copters in the BF games...I'm not a chopper whore though, I'm more of a run and gun type of player. It's a damn shame that I crave infantry action...a good chopper pilot/gunner can turn the tides on most maps!
