Wow.....it would seem we need someone other than a politician to run for president, if I follow your reasoning correctly. Truly if I followed my gut, completely when it comes to American politics, I simply would not vote in any election.....ever. But in this reality we live in, there are no rose colored glasses to place on my face. There are unfortunately, no candidates who meet the relatively high criteria I would hope for in my president....likely there never will be. One can hope for the best, even work to find such a person, but there comes a time when such wishing for nirvana is no longer productive. This of course is subjective to the individual, and forms the basis of opinion on an individual candidate.
There are many things about McCain I would change, but I am not in a position to do so. This leaves me in the usual position of a lesser of two evils descision. I know you feel strongly negative towards virtually anythin resembling an elephant Host....as is your right. But when one is blinded by dislike....part of the world becomes unavailable. I for one like to keep my options open.
