Well when it comes to smelling nice, Axe has a line of shower gels that smell very yummy.  Since you said you don't need any particular needs in your soap other than to get clean and smell good, I think that's the one for you! For shampoo, something basic like Suave should be sufficent; it's cheap and has a variety of smells to choose from and does the job for good old normal hair. Hope that was helpful.
