I look at condition and maintenance... that will tell me about their attitude and personality. I think a car can reflect lifestyle too.
I've seen overly expensive cars meticulously maintained, not my cup of tea...
I've seen modest cars kept clean and uncluttered, or quite messy due to daily schedules of kids or work requirements, that's life...
Then I've seen cars kept like garbage tips or just generally full of stuff that has no real reason for being there except laziness, and that's not for me.
I think it does matter when you are trying to ascertain what sort of people you want to spend time with.
