a lot of mccains progressivepunch shortcomings seem to deal with government programs. well, the country isn't in a very good financial situation at the moment, so maybe it's not that bad to get someone who wants to spend less. also, he is anti-corruption and an pro-environment.
hillary scores well on the pp website, but she hasn't done anything lately besides fundraise. and i doubt she can get enough votes unless bill signs on for VP. biden...ehh. edwards and kerry already had their chance. who else is there?
