That show amazed me and not in a good way. A teacher! A rabbi! An ER doctor?? Makes you wonder just how wide-spread pedophilia really is.
My daughter had a close call with an online predator who was bold enough to go by the name 'partyxenema'! He'd apparently been stalking out a neighborhood girl, a cousin of one of my daughter's friends. All we could do was turn over the name to police since we don't keep chat logs. But she got 'rules of online chatting 101' quickly and first rule-if you don't recognize the name, you are not to say one word to them. Also made her change her AIM profile to less reflect that of a young teen and made her remove her myspace. Finally, as much as she hates it, I WILL stand over her shoulder and read-the first time I see her hide her chatting, she's off the computer.
Disgusting that, as a parent, I have to do all this.....
