Neon Genesis Evangelion - I like how fucked up all the characters are, makes me feel good about myself.
Hikaru No Go - apart from the ghost, IMO, it's the anime that's closest to reality that I've ever seen. And the way they can make something so simple like playing Go interesting and intense speaks volumes about their ability to tell a story. Plus You can see the characters gradually grow as the story progresses AND they actually change clothes everyday!!!
Doremon - grew up reading and watching this anime. How I wish I have a friend like Doremon....
