Bloody hell. Surely - when a baby is born there are other processes assisting.
The way I understand it - womens ligaments loosen or something during pregnancy, allowing the bones which are attached and form the pelvis some additional flexibility. I'm probably wrong... but yeah, I'm sure that there's a bunch of mechanisms that kick in during birth (some of which are understood medically and some which are undiscovered).
After all, the body has months to prepare for it.
That's not to belittle your question. I just don't think that this would be comparable to birth.
