I voted what's lazytown and went to check it out.
At first glance I thought this show was just one of those typical kids shows- throw in a few important lessons on the side, then hammer the kids with whatever merchandise will sell.
They really suprised me. They really did. Check this out:

Not a single candy bar or pop advert in sight- they are selling bread and veggies! an "economy" game that involves the community, books with a focus on the lesson it teaches, a nutrition book/log made into a game.
Really impressive. To me, this really does look like a company with an ethical stance being supported by it's target market. I would love to see this sort of merchandising here in North America.
edit- oh. Sportacus is quite the acrobat. I can see why the women like him.
