*shakes head* may I suggest that, unless you can tell them something positive without lying, you just avoid it all together?
If you're avoiding it, because you can't and they ask, be honest and exceptionally kind. A person can take a well meant suggestion, if kindly put, but would be very upset if they were to find out you lied.
