Not that I don't totally respect the Red Wings, or their organization, but these numbers really don't mean anything to me. I mean, look at the teams they have been playing so far. St. Louis, Columbus, Chicago, all in back to back games. Can this team possibly be in a softer division? Their only loss to date is against the Vancouver Canucks, and they barely scraped a win against the San Jose Sharks. So, until they prove the can start winning against some really good teams, I don't think they should be uncorking the champagne just yet.
