i bed to differ on your freedom of speech. there have been plenty of people jailed since 911 in the us and other european countries for exactly that..freedom of speech. if you care i could give you some examples.

A free society allows hateful speech to be challenged and debated out in the open, among all citizens. Thus we preserve the autonomy of our news media as much as we do in the United States, and we castigate the press not aggressive enough with the officials who yield power. President Bush had a terrible September and October, not only because of natural events, but mostly because of the stinging criticism of his administration's reactions to disasters, vacancies in the courts, and the behavior of his staff in the White House. Free speech provided that forum, and free speech is the check against any power used wrongly in our government.
As for bin Laden and those like him -- their speech is tied to criminal behavior. Their speech was monitored but largely tolerated in the US before 9-11, but inciting speech tied to those mass murders can never be considered innocent today. The guy in the video, if ever tied to a murder, will quickly be prosecuted for his role in the act of a demonstrable crime, the same way the Aryan Nation leaders were prosecuted for their roles in hate crimes about 5 years a go in the US.
