Powerclown - That GT is BADASS! Damn I want to drive one of those.
I haven't seen anything fantastic in awhile unfortunately.
As far as rare though, does rarity count as frequency of sightings? If so, my dad and I have had several rarities over the years. He's always liked unusual cars. Jags, Rolls, MG, Opel, etc. Probably common fair in Bristol or something, but when you grow up in a small town in KY, they suren't common.
When I was in high school we had a 1971 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. Definitely stood out in town. Now he has a pristine 89 Jaguar XJS hardtop. My first car (in 1992) was a 1970 Opel GT (looks like a little tiny foreign made corvette or something).
Probably the most unusual vehicle we had though was a mid 70's model International Pickup Truck. I've never seen another one since anywhere.
Of course, the most rare privately owned vehicle I've seen was a friend of my dad's who owned a Half-Track military vehicle. Sure don't see those every day.
Back to the exotic though...
I did see a sweet Ferrari a few months back just cruise by me in traffic in downtown Memphis and I was just like, "wha, who, holy, sweet jesus that's awesome" and I had no idea what the model was. I just stared at it dumbly while my consultant rep was driving me to lunch. She just laughed at me like I was a silly little boy. Oh well. At least some women get it
