Say you're driving along down a 55MPH road. Coming into view is a 45MPH sign.

Do you slow down to 45MPH as soon as you can see the sign (and read it clearly)? Or, do you slow to 45MPH as soon you get TO the sign (ie drive past it)? What would the answer be in legal terms? What would a LEO say?
