You're right that there's more to sex than marriage, but a spouse should never deny sex to their partner because part of the deal in a
monogamous marriage is that you won't go have sex with other people and that you'll remain faithful.
Rather than be tempted to cheat because your spouse is denying you sex it is wiser to pull the plug on the marriage and be freed up to meet other people.
