That may be true, Sleepyjack, but that's precisely why I go to matinee showings whenever possible (4.50$ at my local theater), because I think that paying 10$ for a movie is far too expensive, plus a soda is 4$, a bag of popcorn is another 4$, a small bag of candy you could get out of a regular vending machine for 0.75$ costs 3.25$, and so on. Movie theaters are outrageously expensive - as are video games.

It's interesting, because I'm all for stealing music. However, lately I've been feeling bad about stealing games. There's a LOT of effort and time that goes into these things, and I'm starting to think that $50 isn't that bad. You have to have teams of 15 or 20 coders working 40 hour weeks to come up with some of these physics, plus a team of 10 or 15 artists modelling your levels and massively detailed characters, plus a team of 10 QA people continously playing the same levels over and over again looking for flaws and design issues, plus a Production Company/Marketing team of who-knows-how-many to get this game hyped, so that the other teams can actually get paid for their hard work-hours..
After doing game programming for a while, I'm really starting to appreciate the difficulty of all of this.. 10 hours and I barely got a GUI and a splash screen.. and it eats up system resources like a whore..
OH - and I'm going to get F.E.A.R here pretty soon..
