The bottom line is that the Spurs are the team to beat. Nothing's changed there.
The Heat got a bunch of big names on their roster, but will it add up to much? I think they are talented enough to at least make the Eastern Conference Finals.
I don't think the Pistons will be able to do it as they try to move on without Larry Brown.
I like Indiana. I think they have the hunger and team unity to make it to the Finals.
In the West, it's pretty much just the Spurs.
The Suns fell apart over the offseason. They tried to spin their losses as getting stronger defensively, but that's BS. There's no question they would keep last year's team together if they could. I still see them as a playoff team, but there's no way they are getting by the Spurs.
The Nuggets and Rockets are good, but not close to contending in my opinion.
