Google's Picasa 2 (
http://picasa.google.com/index.html) seems to be an amazing program. It indexes all your photos and videos and helps you neatly organize and rename and edit them in a ridiculously easy way.
The only strange thing is that it doesn't actually edit an of the files that you play with, but rather makes a new file so your original can't be harmed--seems a little bulky, but great for people who tend to mess things up.
My firewall also tells me that it is accessing the internet.
Google Earth (
http://earth.google.com/) on the other hand is just plain amazing. It makes you feel like you are living in the future. I absolutely am addicted.
So what's up with these Google cats anyway? How is it that they can offer such amazing software for free? Are the secretly.... THE MAN?
