i've been vegetarian for 9 years now. i don't take supplements or whatever and i think i'm pretty healthy! And I never think about what I eat--whatever I have a craving for (that doesn't have eyes or muscle) i eat.
However, it's true that being vegetarian does not automatically mean you're on a good diet. I know vegetarians who eat instant noodles for 2 out of three meals a day--it kind of makes me sick to look at that. I've been blessed with a natural predilection for healthy foods...
