Good points guys, I'm thinking same Coaster, what do I do when I get to my target. I'm currently losing weight by eating around 500- 1000 calories less each day, so to maintain I should be able to add that back in. The foods I'm eating now is going to be what I will enjoy for the rest of my life, but I will be able to occasionally be bad and order pizza as long as I enjoy it in moderation.
I still eat red meat (maybe once every 2 weeks), in fact a 6oz Sirloin steak is less than 300 calories, and is a very lean cut so lower in fat, just don't cook it in butter, many marinades are low/no cal as well. Fried foods and pizza was my enemy so I've cut them out completely.
Besides, it can be fun counting calories and planning meals, I started eating salmon again, something I haven't had since I was a kid and now I'm wondering why I stopped eating it..
