Yes, Google is your friend. Like other professions, there will be schools that have better reputations than others, so search them out. I mean, if you get certified at a school that doesnt have a good reputation, you might as well print out your own certificate with a crayon.
Moi: You should experience relief in a week or so of starting treatment. It really depends on how far out of alignment your back and neck were to begin with. If you do not get relief in that two weeks, start shopping for another chiro. I started with one guy, but he really was not too good, so I found one who is amazing, and unless I really hose something up, can get me straightened out in one or two treatments now.
For both of you: be sure to look for CCSP accredidation. This is the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. I'm not sure of the details, but is something that my own chiro has and continues to study. It probably blends chiropractic ideals with kinesiology and sports medicine.
