This is pretty much what we do...we celebrate Yule for about a week around X-Mas....and take the Kids to Grammas for the actual Christmas celebration, because baby Jesus would cry if we didnt...
actually because Gramma would cry if the Kids didnt do the Xmas thing....heh
Likely Jesus was born in the spring anyway.
