The reason I ask is I just started in transportation in June with TDCJ, and compared to working in a regular unit, it's like night and day. I actually like going to work now, and that's a huge improvement over my mental state prior to transfering to trans.

Each jail has their own transport teams. We have two where I work; a bus for the big trips, and a van for things like outside hospital trips.
